Parker Ray didn’t set out to become an e-learning consultant — he became one by helping organizations solve real training challenges from the inside.

Early in his career, while leading training and operations at Hellier NDT Training, Parker saw firsthand how traditional classroom models were limiting growth, scalability, and learner engagement. He led the transition toward digital, blended, and mobile learning solutions — modernizing programs and building systems that improved both learner experience and organizational performance.

That practical, results-focused approach continued through senior leadership roles at Dynacor Learning and in partnership with teams at Fraser Health Authority, where he worked alongside subject matter experts, leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design effective, measurable learning programs. Whether implementing an LMS, rebuilding outdated training, or developing courses from the ground up, Parker’s focus has always been the same: make learning work in the real world.

With an MBA from Royal Roads University and more than a decade of hands-on experience, Parker founded Colwood Consulting to bring that same collaborative, strategic, and practical mindset to organizations across the province and nationally.

He believes great learning solutions aren’t just well-designed — they’re aligned with business goals, built for real people, and created through strong partnerships.
